We helped a leading global Auto OEM reduce rework efforts and cost using data mining to create virtual value stream maps for over 100,000 vehicles and map sources of thousands of hours of rework. Our data-driven approach led to an overall 20 percent improvement opportunity in reducing repair hours.

We partnered with an auto parts manufacturer to reduce change notice (CN) cycle times resulting from delays caused by sequential completion of process steps, loss of impact from long release times, and varying implementation techniques across global design centers. Following our review and approval process optimization, we delivered a 12 percent cycle time reduction and a 10 percent rework rate reduction to levels of best-performing sites, leading to improved overall efficiency.

We supported a leading consumer player by creating a supply chain roadmap with initiatives to deliver their targeted, multi-million-dollar top-down potential over the next four years. We used process mining to size the impact of improving transport efficiency across regions. Our technique helped to identify improvement opportunities and enabled the client to create a custom roadmap with ‘push-button-ready’ initiatives that process efficiency and reduce costs.
