With the goal of enhancing quality of care while ensuring financial sustainability, the partnership delivered improvements in patient care alongside greater operational efficiency and financial health, without layoffs and while maintaining high retention. Following the partnership, Jackson achieved its lowest-ever rate of hospital-acquired infections and improved quality performance by a full letter grade.
