We partnered with Delaware State University, one of the nation’s historically Black colleges and universities (HBCU) to support the institution along its strategic growth journey, which included a focus on mergers and acquisitions to improve student outcomes and enhancing institutional sustainability.

How we did it
Conducted diligence to inform potential opportunities resulting from the acquisition of Wesley College and cocreated a growth plan for the combined institution
Identified growth opportunities that included the introduction of new academic programs and increased investments in enrollment and retention efforts
Cocreated a five-year growth plan with approximately 75 university initiative owners and supported its implementation
Led capability-building efforts with university leaders throughout the acquisition and transformation journey
