Sachin is a digital practitioner with more than10 years of experience in helping clients define and deliver their digital agenda, covering both transformation of the core as well as building and scaling new digital businesses. He has a deep practical understanding of the underlying data-and-application architecture and IT modernization needed to support business innovation.

Sachin has extensively helped B2C and B2B operators to elevate their commercial capabilities and led transformative programs on channel digitization, personalization at scale, next-generation data architecture, and agile operations.

He has bridged between commercial and IT organizations across multiple technology deployments and is sought after on driving value assurance, particularly for telecom and technology clients.

Examples of Sachin’s recent client experience include the following:

  • leading a more than 2-year channel-digitization program for one of the largest wireless telecommunications operators in the world—including agile product development to build digital channels from the ground up and launch within 7 months, and continuous product development and coordinated commercial efforts to drive customer adoption to more than 9 million monthly active users (MAU) within 2 years of launch
  • building new digital businesses in media and lifestyle for one of the largest business conglomerates in Southeast Asia—including setting up an entirely new organization for the digital business entity with more than100 full-time employees, shaping the overall strategy and value proposition, developing underlying technology architecture, and bringing three new digital services to market within 9 months to get to an MAU base of more than ten million
  • driving an end-to-end program for a leading B2C operator—covering data-and-analytics technology enablement as well as transition to agile execution of marketing campaigns—leading to the operationalization of a test factory to define, evaluate, and scale omnichannel campaigns
  • shaping the pricing strategy for a leading telecommunications operator to adapt to changing market conditions and competition over a 3-year period—introducing new analytical tools and techniques to evaluate elasticity in prepaid dominant markets, enabling micromarket pricing in over 200 clusters, and unlocking a more than 7 percent uplift in revenues

Sachin has also developed multiple knowledge assets and leads a rapid analytics diagnostic suite in Asia.

Prior to McKinsey, Sachin had extensive experience with mid-market and large buyout firms in the United States and the United Kingdom in advisory, portfolio management, and investment capacities, focusing on the technology and business-services spaces.
