Laura coleads McKinsey’s global capital markets work, heading the firm’s service to sales and trading firms, investment banks, and financial data and markets infrastructure providers. In this role, she collaborates closely with McKinsey’s clients to build new businesses and capabilities, enter new markets, and drive innovation.

Laura has led strategy, operating model, regulatory, and M&A efforts with leading institutions globally, shaping the future of the financial services ecosystem. Her recent project experience includes:

  • defining the business strategy for the capital markets division of a leading North American bank
  • launching a product-driven operating model on behalf of a global financial data and markets infrastructure firm
  • architecting the data and analytics strategy for a leading exchange group

She also works closely with McKinsey’s private capital clients to support their evaluation of potential acquisitions and capture of portfolio value creation opportunities, leveraging her industry and functional expertise.
