Ankit is a partner in McKinsey’s New York office. He leads the firm's work in AI, gen AI, and agentic AI work for the real estate sector and builds AI solutions for private capital and financial services clients. He works closely with CEOs, CFOs, and senior executives across real estate, technology, and banking, and is a frequent speaker at industry forums.

Examples of his recent client work include:

  • developing an innovative agentic AI platform to automate work order processing, billing, and cash accounting for a large commercial real estate services firm
  • leading a team of over 40 engineers in the development of new features for a product with millions of monthly users, focused on home buying and selling across mobile and web platforms, including recommendation engines and market analytics
  • managing a team of engineers and data scientists in creating a post-COVID-19 workplace wellness app (featured on CNN, CNBC, BBC), using IoT temperature scanners, indoor air quality sensors, and occupancy, employee, and illness data to generate building wellness scores
  • directing a technology and analytics initiative for a large real estate developer and manager, including production analytics dashboards, technical architecture, and a five-year product roadmap for a resident-centric business transformation
  • leading the development of data analytics capabilities for a major financial institution to predict commercial credit downgrades up to 12 months in advance, utilizing novel datasets such as transaction data, healthcare claims, and news sources
  • producing data-driven pricing strategies for a national real estate company, resulting in a substantial increase in gross margin, by working closely with senior leadership and building an optimization tool to automate commission plans

Prior to joining McKinsey, Ankit worked as a quantitative analyst in Goldman Sachs’ Investment Banking Division, analyzing investment trends and shareholder bases following M&A transactions, capital allocation decisions, and simulated commodity pricing for natural resources.
