Amit is a senior partner who co-leads McKinsey’s GEM in India. He brings extensive knowledge in the energy and materials sector, especially across the oil and gas and renewables, and has advised Indian and global companies, on multiple aspects of the business, most recently extensively on energy transition, sustainability and analytics. Amit is also a member of the McKinsey Global Institute (MGI) council, which advises on MGI research on global economic, business, and technology trends.

Amit has significant experience in driving end-to-end operations, growth and organization transformations, including with public sector enterprises. His recent work includes helping companies capture opportunities created by energy transition, end to end EBITDA transformation (including extensively using Advanced Analytics), helping companies drive market beating growth, and improving value of capital projects through cost and time savings.
