Amina is a partner in McKinsey’s Cairo office. She leads the firm’s economic development work in Egypt, working closely with donor institutions to drive the transformation of key sectors and support potential investors looking to enter the Egyptian market.

She has also played a key role in public sector transformation across the GCC and Africa, advising governments on strategy development and execution to enhance economic competitiveness and institutional efficiency. Her expertise includes public finance, where she has supported tax system reforms, fiscal policy enhancements, and the restructuring of public sector entities to improve financial sustainability and productivity.

Before joining McKinsey, Amina spent five years in industry and government, including roles at Renault as a project manager in mechanical engineering and as a technical advisor to the Moroccan Minister of Energy and Mines.
