We surveyed 66 private equity companies and institutional investors around the world and conducted interviews with several industry leaders to supplement the data we received. Participating private equity companies directly employ more than 60,000 people globally and control over $6 Trillion in assets under management.
Our findings highlight the importance of diversity of talent in private equity, as well as the progress made over the course of 2022, and provides clear areas to focus on as the industry continues to prioritize diversity, equity, and inclusion.
