A partner in McKinsey’s Delhi office, Soumyadeep leads the firm's work in manufacturing and supply chain management in India. He specializes in manufacturing and supply chain transformations across sectors, including auto OEM and component manufacturing, pharmaceuticals, consumer, agrochemicals, and textiles. He also provides direction on yield energy, throughput, quality improvement, digital, and end-to-end analytics enablement of the supply chain. In addition to his client work, he serves as managing partner for the Gurugram office.

Examples of Soumyadeep’s recent client work include the following:

  • spearheading the manufacturing transformation of a large cement company with a presence in five countries in Asia
  • creating next-generation manufacturing systems enabled by IoT and analytics for a leading auto-component manufacturer
