A long way to gender parity

Business leaders and workers in Mexico are increasingly paying attention to issues around diversity and gender equity. Even so, it will take a century for women to achieve parity in senior leadership positions in companies there, find senior partner Eduardo Bolio, partner Valentina Ibarra, and colleagues. Women represent 40 percent of those in entry-level corporate roles but only 10 percent of those in C-suite and CEO positions.

Women represent 10 percent of the C-Suite in Mexican companies, and it would take 100 years to achieve gender parity at senior levels of organizations.
