How to apply
Interviewing with McKinsey is not just about us getting to know you. It is also an opportunity for you to ask questions and meet our people.
The first step toward a career at McKinsey Denmark is to prepare your written application. Please find all open positions here. Your application should contain the following attachments:
- A short cover letter in English that provides us with a clear first impression of who you are, including:
- your background and what makes you stand out from the crowd
- your achievement in your studies, working life, and spare time
- what interests you most about a career in consulting, and where you see the fit between yourself and what we look for in our consultants
- Your CV detailing your academic performance, previous jobs and internships, professional experience, and extracurricular activities (sports and associations) and hobbies
- Copies of your original grade transcripts from high school and onwards
- If possible, one or more references from persons qualified to tell us about your academic performance and your intellectual and personal qualities
- As you apply, we do expect that you are thoroughly familiar with both the behavioral areas (four dimensions: Connection, Drive, Leadership and Growth) and problem-solving skills, which we look for in any candidacy.
As you complete our online application, you will be asked to fill in a few biographical core fields and attach your files. As part of the application process you will be asked to complete our problem solving game.
