Inclusion is an integral part of McKinsey, and it is a part of our mission to make everyone feel welcome.

A community of exceptional and unique people

One of the things that I enjoy the most about working at McKinsey, is that I get to build connections with many different people. Everyone brings something unique to the table, both in terms of nationality, educational background, and general life experiences. The people working at McKinsey are exceptional in the way that they truly care about each other and about creating great teams. There is a genuine interest in other people and their journey, which is lived within the culture, and to me, that is one of the things that makes McKinsey a great place to work.

It is a part of our mission to make everyone feel welcome

Inclusion is an integral part of McKinsey, and it is a part of our mission to make everyone feel welcome, and to build a community that attracts people and makes them want to stay with the firm. For me personally, I experienced this inclusion even before starting in McKinsey, when I was part of CEMS, a global business leadership program at Copenhagen Business School. As part of my CEMS program, I worked on a business project that focused on inclusion and diversity with McKinsey, and, even from the outside, it was very clear to me that those topics were an important part of the culture here. Now, I experience inclusion every day as my colleagues always check in with each other, and there is a shared agreement that we are all responsible for creating an inclusive environment.
