Embark with determination

Esther started at McKinsey and found a family.

When I started as a summer intern, I quickly learned the challenges we face aren’t easy to solve. I’m grateful to have my McKinsey Black Network family and many other great colleagues by my side to help me.

To help McKinsey translate its commitment to diversity and inclusion into actions within Brazil, I participated in the Together Conference . This event, organized by McKinsey, brought together more than 450 young adults like me, each with her/his own stories of victory and difficulties. This was a milestone of which I am proud to be a part, especially as a new hire; it opened a path for me and many young Afro–descendants from all over Brazil.
