The Capital Excellence (CE) Fellow is an expert path role aligned to our Operations Practice. The Fellow role is designed as an apprenticeship program to develop future leaders in capital project delivery at McKinsey by providing hands-on experience across the full lifecycle of capital programs.
Throughout the Fellow program, you will work across our capital excellence solutions, helping clients transform their organizations by enhancing the performance of large-scale capital projects. This includes optimizing project planning and delivery, improving cost and schedule predictability, implementing advanced project controls, and driving operational excellence in capital-intensive industries. In addition to serving clients, you will contribute to shaping McKinsey’s thinking in the capital excellence domain and continuously deepen your expertise as well as that of the firm.
You will be part of a close-knit community of like-minded professionals and program alumni. At the start of the program, you will be paired with a Professional Development Manager (PDM) who will guide your growth in the capital excellence domain throughout your journey. Additionally, you will participate in a variety of virtual and in-person events designed to foster connections within the Fellow community and provide opportunities for learning and collaboration.
As a CE Fellow, you will work with teams of McKinsey colleagues and clients to tackle complex challenges in capital project delivery, driving measurable impact for our clients. Upon successful completion of the program, you will transition into a role that best aligns with your enhanced expertise and client experience, enabling you to continue delivering value in the capital excellence space.
CE Fellows can be based in our Dallas office. The role involves frequent travel, allowing you to collaborate with diverse teams and expand your professional network across multiple geographies.
