Florian is a Partner in Canada’s Healthcare Practice, and a co-leader of McKinsey’s global Medtech practice. As a former physician, Florian is focusing this work on different aspects of healthcare.
He is serving multinational medtech companies across the value chain. Florian is also advising healthcare providers on issues of capacity planning, quality of care, operations, and talent management. He is co-leading McKinsey’s health technology network, advising early-stage innovators in healthcare and investors in the healthcare space.
Florian has lived and worked in Europe, Asia and North America and often helps multinational companies develop strategies for international markets, and healthcare providers craft locally relevant solutions applying best practices from health systems across the globe.
Prior to joining McKinsey, Florian worked as a clinician in Internal Medicine, and as a neuroscientist researching neurodegenerative diseases.
