A new model for HBCU online learning

According to McKinsey research, Historically Black Colleges and Universities enroll more than twice as many Pell Grant–eligible students as non-HBCUs and their graduates are 51 percent more likely to move into a higher-income quintile.

That kind of economic impact can meaningfully scale through wider access to HBCU learning, in particular flexible, high-quality digital education. McKinsey partnered with Delaware State University to launch eHBCU, a first-of-its-kind online learning consortium that aims to expand economic mobility for learners through education.
