Rob Loughlin is a partner in our Boston office and a leader in our Consumer Packaged Goods Practice where he works with clients on topics related to operations and strategy. He focuses on helping clients drive profitable growth and innovation through brand and product portfolios, supplier management, and ecosystem development. He coleads the firm’s global work on portfolio, innovation, design, and digitally enabled innovation.

Examples of Rob’s recent work include the following:

  • helping a major North American food company establish an end-to-end product renovation engine that generated over $100 million in impact opportunities during its first year, and established new multiyear brand roadmaps
  • leading an end to end innovation transformation at a major North American consumer-goods company that stood up a new innovation operating model, launched a business unit, and delivering four times the historical sales from new products
  • developing a new digital strategy and omnichannel customer experience transformation for the retail business of a major food and agriculture player, to enable 120 percent p.a. top-line growth over the next five years, including building capabilities in agile and design
  • spearheading a design-centric value transformation with a durables company that generated 15 percent margin enhancement across its largest product families
