Fiyin is a Partner based in McKinsey & Company’s Washington DC office. As a leader of McKinsey’s social, healthcare and public-sector practice, Fiyin passionately collaborates with mission-driven leaders to orchestrate and execute large-scale performance improvement transformations efforts. In particular, Fiyin has deep expertise in workforce development and higher education, where his primary mission has been to empower these institutions with the capacity to sustainably fulfill their core missions, enhancing education and research outcomes.

Examples of some client efforts include:

  • Designed and supported the implementation of a transformation program for several HBCUs
  • Supported an array of large universities (and university systems) with end-to-end financial budget transformation programs, enabling them to sustainably deliver on education and research missions
  • Developed several national, state, and local government economic strategies, including sector prioritization and competitiveness, downtown revitalization, and economic mobility

Fiyin is also recognized leader within McKinsey’s Institute of Black Economic Mobility. He leads knowledge initiatives, offers strategic client guidance, and frequently shares his expertise as a speaker on issues crucial to unlocking inclusive economic growth.

Prior to joining McKinsey & Company, Fiyin played a pivotal role as part of the Novartis Coartem clinical development team focused on efforts to reduced malaria-related illnesses and fatalities across the African continent. Fiyin’s dedication to international development extends to the Board of the Nigerian University of Technology and Management.
