Attila is a partner with our Budapest office who leads our Operations Practice in Central Europe, our service operations work in Europe, the Middle East, and Africa (EMEA), and coleads our banking service operations efforts in Europe.

Attila helps leading organizations deliver step-change improvements in operational performance through digital service operations, operating model and end-to-end customer journey transformations and large-scale capability building. He has expertise in customer care, operating model design, AI, and advanced analytics-based service operations. Since joining McKinsey, Attila has served clients in the financial services, telecommunications, energy, and public sectors. Attila led various transformations in retail and B2B sales, branch network and field force, contact center, mid and back office, HR, finance, procurement, and IT.

Attila has led multiple transformations in numerous sectors. Some of these included supporting a European Bank to improve its cost to income ration by 16 percentage points, and its net promoter score by 12 points by applying cloud computing, advanced analytics, and AI-based solutions. He also transformed an African bank through modernizing end-to-end customer journeys, branch network, and its customer care and support functions. He has helped multiple banks and insurance providers to modernize operating models, move to zero-based operations, and transform sales functions, call centers, back-office processes, and support functions.

Attila also developed an operational excellence transformation program for a European mobile telco operator, which resulted in a 30 percent efficiency improvement in customer finance, additional improvements in employee engagement, as well as a 20 percent revenue uplift in B2B sales and in the B2C store network. This also created additional capacity in its call center. Attila’s recent work in the energy sector includes developing and piloting a target operating model for a central European energy company, with a bottom-line profit and loss impact of 15 percent.

Prior to joining McKinsey, Attila worked in various finance functions in Europe and the United States. He is fluent in English and Hungarian, and has a practical knowledge of German.
