About Shannon

Shannon serves utilities, telecommunications operators, and industrial companies on issues including digital strategy, advanced analytics, agile transformation, product strategy and design, and user experience. She is a leader of our work on digital and analytics in the electric power and natural gas sector.

With a professional and academic background in software engineering, Shannon brings clients deep expertise in building and scaling digitally enabled operations and products, using agile working, design thinking, and advanced technologies.

Examples of her recent client projects include the following:

  • working with a major North American utility to build and scale an agile digital hub that deployed four mobility applications in eight months, including a mobile solution for the asset-inspection workforce that won a cross-industry innovation award
  • helping a large utility to develop and lead a digital product organization that launched a novel cloud-hosted product to alert customers about power outages
  • supporting a utility with the lean transformation of its enterprise software development that introduced agile and lean principles to eliminate waste and unnecessary work, boosting productivity by 25 percent

More broadly, Shannon has led our work with industrial and utility clients on multiple IT strategy and IT modernization programs, with initiatives involving agile infrastructure, cloud computing, and the development of digital products for both field-force employees and end customers.

In her spare time, Shannon serves on the board of directors of the Amir Project, a charity that empowers young people and builds communities through gardening and farming.
