Satya leads McKinsey’s work on tech-enabled transformation in industrials. A core member of our Advanced Electronics, High Tech, and Semiconductors Practices, he primarily serves clients operating in these industries.
Satya advises clients on a range of strategic and operational issues. He is particularly passionate about helping clients capture the opportunity in digital, analytics, automation, and Internet of Things (IoT) technologies and converting it to business value. Satya has supported numerous industrial companies in developing an IoT business-building strategy, building go-to-market and monetization models to support the strategy and then scaling the IoT business from concept to product. He also helps clients leverage a broad range of digital, analytics, and IoT technologies to transform all aspects of the business. Recently, he helped an industrial company utilize technology to transform its frontline sales experience and improve margins.
Prior to joining McKinsey, Satya worked as an engineer at a multinational communications company. He directed the integration of hardware and software for handsets.
