About Sandra

Sandra is an associate partner at McKinsey and a leader within the firm’s consumer sector. She has extensive expertise serving consumer companies on commercial growth and digital topics in the consumer health and wellness spaces, including inorganic and M&A-led growth, digital strategy, and industry-entry strategy. She leverages her experience in consumer health coupled with consumer and market research to help organizations create value. Recently, Sandra has also advised clients on their sustainability strategies. Her driving force is to ultimately transform the consumer health industry into a sustainable circular economy with the consumer and our planet together at the center.

Sandra is a leader in the consumer health service line and was instrumental in publishing the firm’s proprietary research on the Future of Wellness, which was aimed at better understanding changes in how consumers approach the concept of wellness across appearance, fitness, health, mindfulness, nutrition, and sleep.

Prior to joining McKinsey, Sandra worked at Bayer where she collaborated with various functions with growing responsibilities. In her last role before transitioning to McKinsey, she worked in Bayer's consumer health division where she was responsible for introducing a new customer-centric sales approach in Europe. She holds an MBA from the Bradford Graduate School of Management and is currently finishing her PhD at the Technical University of Munich.
