Peter has over 30 years of experience in driving the performance of projects and firms in the development and delivery of transport, utilities, and social infrastructure. He helps organizations identify and implement step change in enterprise and project performance across the value chain for infrastructure owners, developers, investors, and constructors.

Examples of Peter’s recent work include the following:

  • leading metro rail and road program and project interventions in Australia, New Zealand, Indonesia, Canada, and the UK
  • advising several Asian infrastructure construction companies on Australia strategy and projects
  • designing and implementing a major international airport transformation to deliver a once-in-a-generation doubling of capacity including second runway, new terminals, road network, and other infrastructure

Highlights of Peter’s career prior to joining McKinsey include the following:

  • building a transport infrastructure business including targeted, complex road and rail projects from $100 million to $5 billion in scale
  • leading the development and implementation of collaborative contracting including project alliances throughout Australia
  • driving superior project outcomes through expert risk management support
  • working in a highly collaborative leadership team to grow a highly successful specialist infrastructure project advisory business
