Nicolas is the Director of Finalta responsible for banking benchmarking across Western Europe. He works closely with the leadership of banks to perform detailed benchmarking studies which create clarity and insight of the bank's performance, helping identify opportunities for improvement and further development.
Finalta is the market leader for financial services benchmarking, combining performance benchmark data and best-practice knowledge from over 350 financial institutions in over 50 countries to generate insights on how to achieve superior performance.
Nicolas has over 30 years'; experience working across Europe, North America and the Middle East. Prior to joining McKinsey, Nicolas held regional leadership positions at HSBC, American Express and Natwest Group. Before this, he spent a decade as a strategy consultant with Roland Berger and Booz Allen Hamilton.
Nicolas is married to an art historian and they have two children. After living in the UK for many years, they moved to Germany in 2019.
