About Miriam

Miriam helps consumer-focused companies, particularly in the apparel and luxury-goods sectors, to transform their organizations to capture value. She enables executives to achieve stronger financial footing by setting strategies that drive growth and adjusting operating models to improve performance. Miriam sees agility, analytics, and technology as essential to creating a winning business.

When working with a client, Miriam studies the organization from end to end with an eye toward identifying inefficiencies and opportunities for innovation. She works with executives to implement necessary initiatives, such as creating new programs for performance management or adjusting sourcing approaches.

Examples of her recent client work include the following:

  • setting up agile marketing organizations for leading apparel businesses
  • shortening the end-to-end product development process for consumer organizations by incorporating digital tools, analytics, and more agile ways of working
  • designing an end-to-end performance-management system for one of the largest online pure players
  • developing the category strategy (“where to play”) and the operationalization (“how to win”) for an online marketplace
  • crafting a new commercial operating model for a large international apparel company
  • evaluating the growth potential of different retail formats for an international luxury-goods company and designing a high-level operating model for the prioritized strategy

Miriam holds advanced business degrees earned in Europe and in the United States. She is fluent in German and English.
