About Marco

Marco leads the Operations Practice in Switzerland and coleads our work in petrochemicals in Europe, the Middle East, and Africa. With a track record of scientific achievements in chemistry, he has led more than 400 projects in chemical-related sectors. He works with companies throughout Europe and Asia to identify and execute growth strategies, improve operational performance, and develop effective organizational structures, processes, and capabilities. He also serves leading pharmaceutical and industrial companies on issues such as supply chain, procurement, and manufacturing, and he has recently focused his attention on digital transformations in operations.

Marco spent 2 years in our Tokyo office from 2010 to 2012, where he helped Japanese chemical and pharmaceutical companies and identified opportunities for European chemical companies seeking to expand in China, Japan, and Korea.

Marco is a frequent speaker in the industry and academia. He has lectured on a range of topics spanning from the digital supply chain and the future of manufacturing to environmental-science issues, including bioplastics, green logistics, and CO2 abatement. Marco has won numerous scientific awards and speaks English, French, German, Italian, Romansh, Russian, and some Japanese.
