Partner, Montréal
Brings deep expertise in leading transformations in the telecommunications, media, mining and financial services sectors, specializing in digital transformations and corporate restructuring

About Marc

Marc came to McKinsey after serving 12 years as CEO of a media company that underwent tremendous growth and transformation and also an important restructuring. He is a seasoned and resilient leader and has deep expertise in the areas of business transformation, sales and marketing, human resources, finance, and strategy development and execution.

Marc has led and implemented several RTS transformations for technology, mining, financial services and telecommunications companies.

He led a turnaround for a media company that then became a global leader on several key performance indicators, including profitability, customer renewal, and digital growth.

As president and CEO of a media company, Marc was involved in the largest management buyout (and, subsequently, one of the largest IPOs) in Canadian history by two private equity firms. He led in excess of $20 billion of financing activities and $5 billion of M&A while consistently meeting or exceeding integration plan objectives. A decade later, Marc was responsible for leading the recapitalization of the company, enabling it to execute its business transformation to a digital media and marketing solutions company.

Marc has also been a private equity special advisor, providing strategic guidance on private equity transactions.

He has served on the boards and committees of several organizations, including the National Bank of Canada, Yellow Media, the Business Council of Canada (formerly the Canadian Council of Chief Executives), Lower Canada College, and the CHU Sainte-Justine Foundation. Marc currently sits on the Board of the Foundation of the McGill University Health Centre and on the Advisory Board of Students on Ice.

Marc is a recipient of Canada’s Top 40 under 40.
