Kishan is a senior partner in McKinsey’s Dubai office, where he leads the firm’s business-building work in banking across Europe, the Middle East, and Africa, and serves as chief financial officer of the Middle East office.
With more than 17 years at McKinsey, Kishan has served leading financial institutions across Europe, Africa, and the Middle East, including universal and Islamic banks, wealth managers, fintechs, sovereign wealth funds, and private-capital investors. He works with CEOs, boards, and executive teams on multiyear growth and transformation agendas and is known for partnerships that sustain impact over a decade or more.
His client work spans growth and strategy, digital and technology transformation, AI at enterprise scale, operating-model redesign, and performance acceleration. He has helped incumbent banks move technology from a support function to a core driver of business performance, including some of the largest transformations in the region.
Kishan is one of the firm’s leading practitioners of new business building in financial services. He has launched digital- and AI-native banks and fintechs in multiple geographies, built wealth and private-banking propositions for both incumbents and challengers, and helped establish sovereign- and private-capital-backed ventures at the intersection of banking and technology—several of which have gone on to raise among the largest seed rounds in the MENA region. He has helped make McKinsey’s Middle East office a global reference point for business building within banking.
Alongside his client work, Kishan is deeply invested in developing the next generation of leaders. He is recognized within the firm for building diverse, high-performing teams and serves on the Middle East office’s Women Sponsorship Board. He is a regular speaker at fintech, AI, and business-building forums across the region.
Prior to joining McKinsey, Kishan worked at Airbus in Toulouse, France. He holds bachelor’s and master’s degrees in aerospace engineering from the Higher Institute of Aeronautics and Space in France and the Higher Technical Institute in Portugal and an MBA from London Business School.
Kishan is a native Portuguese speaker and is fluent in English, French, Spanish, and Gujarati.
