Jon, an experienced engineer specializing in gigafactory design and project management, is a pivotal asset in McKinsey’s capital excellence unit. He serves manufacturers in the EV automotive, battery, and green tech spaces, helping them refine industrialization plans and build the adept teams, tools, and processes needed to achieve ambitious objectives.

  • contributing to the identification of value engineering and schedule compression opportunities on large-scale projects
  • empowering clients to develop models to simulate technical and financial scenarios, strengthening execution strategies

Jon is a licensed professional engineer (PE) in the state of California, with a background in structural design. Before joining the firm, he gained extensive experience working for several manufacturing start-ups on software development, project management, engineering leadership, and organizational building. Jon’s portfolio includes diverse projects such as healthcare and educational campuses, airport terminals, wireless telecommunications infrastructure, as well as some of the most advanced automotive and battery factories in the world.
