Jill supports clients across a broad range of people and organizational topics with a focus on operating models, capability building, and leadership team effectiveness. She works across McKinsey’s public and social sector, people and organizational performance, and global basic materials and mining practices.
Jill is a qualified executive coach and works closely with clients to solve complex workforce, culture and leadership issues, tailoring bespoke solutions to drive success.
Some examples of her recent work include the following:
- supporting a national law enforcement agency with a review of its financial operating model
- leading the design and pilot of new ways of working for a public-sector science-and-technology agency
- supporting a global mining company’s development for a future of work strategy for one of its major business units
- leading a review of the strategy of a global mining company’s major capital projects organization
Prior to McKinsey, Jill held senior executive leadership positions—including CEO and deputy secretary—in a diverse range of portfolios within the state and federal public sector, including employment, human services, immigration, superannuation, and statistics functions.
Jill is a graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors and a fellow certified HR practitioner with the Australian HR Institute. Outside work, she loves travelling and spending time with her son, and has a strong interest in wildlife, especially Australian birds.
