About Jeremy

Jeremy is a partner within McKinsey's growth platform focused on the Internet of Things (IoT).

At McKinsey, Jeremy has led the development and execution of the first connected product at an appliance OEM, which involved building their IoT platform and cultivating a new ecosystem of commercial and technical partners. For a global mining leader, he built digital factories that applied advanced analytics to value chain bottlenecks. He also launched a readiness effort for a consumer durable OEM which included an e-commerce star rating improvement and has led multiple commercial and technical due diligences of IoT platform and product targets. As the interim leader of an industrial IoT platform at a quick service restaurant company, he led the definition of their IIoT platform architecture, led development and integration of multiple layers of the IIoT stack, and built out the IIoT organization to deliver both decision and equipment automation.

Jeremy rejoined McKinsey from a multinational leading company in automation solutions, where he was an executive for over a decade and held several general management and strategic leadership roles across multiple parts of the company. His accomplishments included launching and running their “connected home” business, leading the residential products and the smart-grid solutions businesses, and leading strategy and marketing for their $14 billion automation and control solutions group.

Jeremy lives in Minnesota with his wife.
