About Jenny

Jenny leads McKinsey’s consumer and retail work in Australia and New Zealand. She has more than 14 years of consumer sector experience across North America, Australia, and New Zealand; supporting clients to transform their businesses through customer-centricity, agile ways of working, and resetting culture.

Jenny serves clients across a broad set of consumer-facing sectors, including retail, consumer packaged goods, media, service logistics, and telecommunications. Her expertise includes working with CEOs and industry leaders to develop multichannel go-to-market strategies, digital strategies, sales-force effectiveness, and frontline capability building programs.

Examples of her recent client work include the following:

  • leading a five-year global growth strategy in specialty premium products for a global beverage company to identify new geographies and categories for growth
  • developing and implementing a multiyear commercial turnaround program, including key account management, frontline sales training, and re-design of sales-support functions for a leading service-logistics company in Australia
  • supporting the integration and launch of an end-to-end transformation program, including both cost and top-line growth, for a leading consumer company
  • developing and implementing a multiyear sales-force capability building program across 45 local markets—including go-to-market channel re-design—for a leading medical-device company in the United States
  • leading commercial integrations of a large distributed sales organization in multiple sectors; including distribution and media to capture both cost synergies and growth upside

Jenny leads the Australian edition of the annual ‘State of Fashion’ report, produced in partnership with Business of Fashion. This has included presenting research insights at multiple consumer industry events, including Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week, Vogue Codes Summit, and Vogue American Express Fashion’s Night Out.

Jenny sponsors McKinsey’s gender, diversity, and inclusion work in the Asia-Pacific region. She co-authored McKinsey’s ‘Women in leadership: Lessons from Australian companies leading the way’ report and regularly speaks on this topic at public events.

Jenny is also a board member of Australian Fashion Council.
