About Jasper

Jasper is a leader in McKinsey’s global Transformation Practice. He guides large-scale transformations and turnarounds in Australia and New Zealand spanning across multiple industries, including retail, manufacturing, agriculture, banking, global energy and materials, advanced technology, and advanced industries.

In his capacity, Jasper serves clients who are seeking rapid performance improvement, strategic growth, due diligence, operational and cultural change, value capture and merger integration, leadership, and team effectiveness. He is an effective thought partner, coach, and challenger to senior executives to achieve impactful outcomes across entire organizations and build lasting relationships.

Jasper also supports organizations seeking to anticipate emerging trends associated with the Future of Work, talent management, and workplace models.

Examples of Jasper’s recent client work include the following:

  • managing more than 15 large-scale performance transformations and turnarounds for blue chip companies achieving significant profit improvements in less than two years and mobilizing thousands of employees around ambitious aspiration
  • leading the digital transformation for an electronics manufacturing services company across strategy, top line performance, operational improvement, innovation culture, and IIoT architecture
  • supporting a global dairy company in a private-equity style due diligence exercise which resulted in a two-year international transformation in performance and health of more than $1 billion
  • orchestrating an agile operating-model change for a major Australian financial-technology firm, including leading a predictive people-analytics diagnostic to identify risks and opportunities in attrition and retention patterns
  • redesigning the organizational structure and operating model of a major Australian gas enterprise, making it leaner and more efficient

With degrees in law, sociology, and business, Jasper is a sought-after speaker and advisor for notable boards and public sector forums, including New Zealand Treasury’s Tripartite Forum and the New Zealand Prime Minister’s Business Advisory Council.

Jasper received the Excellence Scholarship from Australian Graduate School of Management at the University of New South Wales Business School where he completed his MBA studies. He was also a lecturer at University of Groningen in the Netherlands. Jasper is fluent in Dutch and English.
