About Jack

Jack is a partner in McKinsey’s New Jersey office and is a member of the Digital McKinsey and Healthcare Systems & Services Practices.

His expertise is particularly deep in large-scale transformation, digital and technology, and analytics programs that support business, operations, and clinical reengineering initiatives in the payor and provider segments. Jack’s primary focus is on large-scale programs that are strategic in nature, with targeted outcomes to differentiate the enterprise competitively in support of growth and cost-efficiency objectives, and to improve system-wide healthcare delivery. He has recently shown interest in strategies to define digital transformation paths and the ingredients to evolve healthcare companies from an analogue or functional construct to a symbiotic industrial and digital ecosystem.

Jack is the author of numerous articles on the global and US healthcare industry challenges and the application of innovative technology advances to address them. Throughout his career, he has served several of the industries marquis clients, including several national and leading regional health plans and major provider systems.

Jack’s experience spans entrepreneurship, private equity, high tech, and consulting. His prior roles include coleading the Booz & Company health payor-provider practice, as well as leading the healthcare functional offerings and the global health digital and consumerization practice. Jack’s passion in healthcare and technology started right out of graduate school when he led a practice management start-up that, bringing automation to small- and mid-size physician practices.
