Himanshu has made a career-long commitment to addressing challenges in technology and helping enterprises realize business value via technological transformations. As an adviser to top executives, he works primarily with companies in the finance, healthcare, and high-tech sectors.
Drawing on deep expertise in technology infrastructure, Himanshu helps companies on a variety of topics, including digital transformation, cloud transformation, technology financial management, operations transformation, and go-to-market strategies. For example, he helped a multinational bank design an IT-transformation strategy that yielded hundreds of millions of dollars in savings while improving service quality and delivery. He also helped a major technology service provider develop and execute a go-to-market plan that tripled the company’s growth over three years.
Before joining McKinsey, Himanshu was a senior manager at Intel. While at business school, he also worked in marketing and business development for Transphorm, a venture-capital-funded start-up.
Himanshu offers active support to Umang, a nongovernmental organization working toward fulfilling the basic needs of underprivileged people in India.
