Hayk is a McKinsey Business Building partner based in Copenhagen. He specializes in helping organizations build, launch, and scale new businesses. With a hands-on approach and a strong product and technical expertise, he works side by side with clients to bring their strategy to life, while building a self-sustaining business around it.
Hayk has extensive and global experience helping clients move at start-up speed across the consumer, finance, and technology sectors.
His recent client work includes:
- building an AI personal fitness trainer app for a major health and fitness player in the US, reaching half a million downloads and expanding to multiple partnerships and countries across the world
- running, as co-CEO, the build and launch of a new fintech player in North Africa, offering consumer financing for a growing population of unbanked customers
- coleading the build of direct B2B fleet sales and management services for a European auto brand, including the full move to direct, digital sales
- building and launching one of the biggest sports and entertainment streaming services in the Middle East and North Africa region
- building and launching an e-commerce business for a Danish consumer brand, creating the entire business from scratch—including warehouse operations, tech stack, and digital marketing—in 13 weeks
Hayk holds a master’s degree in managerial economics and decision sciences from the Kellogg School of Management and a bachelor’s degrees in high-energy physics and operations research from MIT, where he also worked in the MIT Nuclear Physics Institute on dark matter detection.
