About Giulia

Giulia leads McKinsey’s marketing and sales work within our Oil & Gas Practice. She has extensive experience in advising oil and gas, chemical, electric-power and natural gas, and energy companies on marketing, commercial, innovation, and postmerger management topics.

Giulia’s recent work in oil and gas includes:

  • supporting an oil and gas company in identifying new innovation and growth opportunities in B2B fuels in selected end-market spaces, building on unmet market needs (customer insights) and trends–10 percent additional growth identified
  • supporting an international oil company in designing and implementing its fuel-retail customer-experience program, ensuring a 10 percent uplift in customer satisfaction and 0.6 percent fuel-volume retention
  • developing the marketing-excellence growth approach for a leading petrochemicals oil and gas company across levers, driving 3 percent return on sales impact
  • helping an oil and gas company to optimize its fuel-retail micromarket pricing and capture 2.5 percent additional margin
  • enabling an oil and gas company to optimize its trading effectiveness through advanced analytics, driving a double-digit margin impact
  • supporting an oil and gas company in designing its continuous improvement program across business units and functions, aiming at reducing free cash flow breakeven by less than 20 percent

Before joining McKinsey, Giulia worked for UniCredit Banca Mobiliare Corporate Banking and Value Partners Management Consulting in Italy. She coleads McKinsey’s Women Matter work in Iberia.
