About Gabriele

Gabriele leads our Risk Practice across Asia and directs our work on banking risk management in Asia. He serves global financial institutions and insurance companies, as well as regional and local banks across Southeast Asia, Europe, and the United States. Gabriele advises clients on issues ranging from strategy and risk to digital banking and digital ecosystems.

Drawing on more than 20 years of experience, Gabriele helps clients develop the strategies and tools to respond to evolving regulatory standards and fluctuating financial markets. He has designed segment- and market-specific risk policies, credit processes, and capital standards—as well as Basel II and Basel III strategies—for major banks.

Examples of his recent client work include the following:

  • helping a leading international bank set up its overall risk infrastructure
  • developing innovative business models leveraging advanced credit solutions for a leading Southeast Asian institution
  • supporting a global bank in creating the commercial and credit platforms for its small-business and midcorporate customers
  • helping to design and set up a capital-light business model for corporate customers
  • advising major global banking groups on how to optimize capital structure
