Based in São Paulo and working globally, Fabricio creates products and services that people can’t live without. This includes building new businesses from scratch, such as a digital-investments company in Argentina, a digital bank in Colombia, a new attacker digital-insurance company in Brazil, and a direct-to-consumer innovative proposition for a global beverages company.

Fabricio leads our product, design and customer experience work in Latin America, and is a core partner with Leap by McKinsey globally. He also leads McKinsey’s fintech relationships in the region, helping refine offerings that serve fintechs of all sizes and phases of growth, as well as helping retailers and others develop fintech capabilities. He lends its creativity in helping McKinsey Brazil to translate impact into narratives and stories through our reach and engagement team.

Prior to McKinsey, Fabricio worked in San Francisco, Chicago, and Munich at IDEO--the catalyst of design thinking--serving clients in China, Europe, and the United States. He also led digital innovation at Itaú in Brazil and worked in senior roles with user experience in digital agencies Huge and SapientNitro in London.

Fabricio is a caring leader with experience in scaling large, multidisciplinary teams of talented individuals. He has worked with some of the world’s most gifted strategists, designers, researchers, and technologists.

An entrepreneur at heart, Fabricio is embedded in Latin America’s start-up ecosystem, having mentored in accelerators there and in London, and collaborates closely with groups in the ecosystem.

In addition to his work with McKinsey, Fabricio is a proud husband and father to two children, and is passionate about art, design, and tech. He is a speed biker in the early mornings and on weekends.
