Serves as office manager of our Iberia office, and advises the top management of financial institutions and major telecommunications groups in Europe, Africa, the Middle East, and South America on strategy, marketing and sales, and operations.


Duarte Braga is a senior partner and the office manager of the Iberian office. Since joining the firm in 2000, he has primarily served clients in the telecom, banking, and retail sectors. He has helped major institutions in a wide range of areas such as strategy, operations and marketing and sales.

Duarte currently leads the marketing and sales group within the European Telecom Practice. One of his main focus areas is distribution and he has helped numerous operators across the world with channel mix management and individual channel optimization programs.

In the corporate area, he supported telecom companies in defining corporate and regulatory strategies, while on the business side, he helped develop product pricing and distribution strategies for a major mobile company. He has also worked extensively on operational improvements and financial turnarounds.

In addition to the telecom industry, Duarte has worked on a wide range of projects in the financial services sector, in Europe and South America. On the business side, he has helped develop strategic plans for leading European institutions and has been actively involved in several business development efforts, from launching small business units to revitalizing international private banking businesses, to coordinating major client acquisition efforts. On the operational side, he participated in cost-reduction programs for European banks. For a South American institution, he helped redesign end-to-end operations on a global scale, streamlining and improving service.
