Dilip is an experienced executive and entrepreneur with a diverse background in B2B and B2C software product management, marketing, and sales, drawing upon more than 25 years of experience at one of the largest global technology companies as well as start-ups and incubators in Europe and Asia. He bridges C-suite strategy discussions with implementation debates among technology and marketing teams to build an operating culture focused on innovation, customer centricity, and agile delivery that drives business value.

In his role leading Build By McKinsey in Southeast Asia, he specializes in attracting and building cross-functional teams—of software engineers and architects, data engineers and scientists, product managers and marketers, designers, and agile coaches—to rapidly build new digital businesses, drive digital transformations, and build client capabilities for long-term sustainability.

Examples of Dilip’s recent client work include the following:

  • working with a leading Southeast Asian conglomerate to build and scale a digital media business, helping to define the product value proposition and technical architecture, institutionalizing agile software delivery, executing product launch and strategy, and scaling operations internationally.
  • working with conglomerates in Southeast Asia and Australia, driving digital transformation initiatives in their mining assets by building new business units to deliver digital solutions that propel operational efficacy, health, and safety, while building digital capabilities throughout the organization.
  • working with leading family-owned companies that have consumer businesses in the South Korean and Thai hospitality, retail, and food services sectors to build new businesses based on digital marketplace business models by defining unique product value propositions and technical architecture, as well as the organization to build and scale the new digital businesses.

In addition to his client work, Dilip has been a board adviser for many software and marketing start-ups, and previously served on the board of Mobile Marketing Association.
