Darshini Mahadevia focuses on helping organizations understand how healthier ways of working can improve employee health, resilience, innovation, and long-term business performance.
Darshini has played a central role in shaping how organizations think about workforce health by translating complex research into practical actions that can be implemented at scale. Her work includes building global evidence on workforce health, advising senior leaders on how these insights apply to their organizations, and supporting efforts to integrate health into the design and management of work. She has contributed to flagship research by the McKinsey Health Institute and McKinsey & Company on topics including brain health in the workplace, evidence-based workplace interventions, and how organizations can turn workforce health into a source of sustained competitive advantage.
Prior to joining McKinsey & Company, Darshini earned a PhD in Cellular, Molecular and Biomedical Studies (Neuroscience) from Columbia University.
