Daphné Maurel is a partner in McKinsey’s Paris office. She is a member of our Healthcare Systems & Services and Consumer Packaged Goods Practices, and coleads the teams dedicated to consumer-health initiatives on a European scale. She is part of the McKinsey Health Institute, which aspires to catalyze action that adds 45 billion years of higher quality life for all people around the globe.
Daphné has spent her career working with consumer-goods companies and healthcare institutions. In that time, she has supported major development programs, health-and-nutrition companies, and health branches of consumer-goods companies.
Her areas of expertise include consumer health, prevention and health promotion, patient experience, and patient-centered design. She is passionate about exploring ways to unlock barriers toward healthier living and habits, better enabling individuals to invest in their own health.
Daphné joined McKinsey in 2011 after having worked as an economist at two major European companies and after her first experience in consulting.
A graduate of ESCP, Daphné also holds a master's degree in economics from Université Paris 1 Panthéon-Sorbonne, and a bachelor's degree in history from Sorbonne Université.
