About Daniel

Daniel joined McKinsey’s Belgium and Luxembourg office in 1987 as an information specialist and quickly built a team of researchers to help the area’s companies. He supported other European offices in creating their research capabilities, including by recruiting and coaching more than 20 researchers and managers across multiple locations.

In 2000, Daniel helped establish the Brussels Knowledge Center. Over the years, he recruited more than 70 researchers representing 20 nationalities and helped the teams develop and scale their client proficiencies. Daniel also launched a shared function for Brussels and Johannesburg, built and scaled research capabilities in Eastern Europe, and helped establish the Knowledge Center in Wroclaw.

Daniel has been instrumental in setting up the Brussels Client Capability Hub, now one of the Firm’s largest centers of expertise in client skills. He currently leads more than 50 colleagues with different backgrounds who offer a variety of expertise, ranging from analytics to research and solutions. He is responsible for the hub’s direction and strategy, and collaborates with colleagues to create a diverse, innovative, and vibrant community.
