About Daniel

Daniel has tech experience from both start-ups and global giants and is passionate about transforming companies where technology is at the core of the business. Across telecommunications, automotive, banking and other sectors, he helps executives deliver new products and customer experiences.

Daniel leads Digital McKinsey in Northern Europe. He is also a global leader in the “agile tribe,” our practice group for those who are evangelists for the power of scaled agile transformations.

With more than 18 years of IT experience, Daniel can shift scope easily—from big-scale transformations to focused product-development initiatives. For example, he led a large transformations for an IT-services company, driving a sweeping lean and agile overhaul involving thousands of employees across Brazil, France, India, Poland, and Sweden. He also led the development of the IoT-strategy for a leading global technology company.

Before joining McKinsey, Daniel was CIO and head of business development at Unibet, a leading Internet gaming company with more than ten million customers in 35 main markets and more than 100 countries. While in that role, he oversaw a complete end-to-end transformation in the technology organization and platform space to enable rapid scaling of the company — hands-on experience he draws on for seeing things from the executive point of view.

Daniel is strongly engaged in the local start-up community. He serves as an advisor to founders and board members through Venture Cup, the leading competition for entrepreneurs in Northern Europe. Formerly a sergeant in an Arctic ranger regiment, he pursues adrenaline sports and outdoor challenges, such as off-piste skiing and Crossfit.
