About Claudio

Claudio founded McKinsey’s Athens office in 1999, which he ran for 6 years. On returning to Zurich in late 2004, he led our Swiss office—comprised of branches in Casablanca, Geneva, and Zurich—for a 6-year term. Between 2011 and 2017, he built McKinsey’s leadership development work and was a member of McKinsey’s Shareholders Council, McKinsey’s board of directors, between 2015 and 2018. Claudio is currently the chairman of the board of Aberkyn, a McKinsey subsidiary focusing on executive coaching and facilitation.

He is the author of the books Serial Innovators: Firms that Change the World (John Wiley & Sons, 2011) and When Execution is Not Enough (John Wiley & Sons, 2016). Claudio is also the coauthor of Leadership at Scale (Hachette, 2018). Further, he is the author of several articles in the areas of leadership and organization published in Nature and McKinsey Quarterly, among others.
