About Christina

As one of the global leaders of McKinsey’s rail work, Christina advises her clients on topics ranging from strategy and growth to marketing and sales, regulation, operations, and digital. She has significant experience with clients in diverse travel, logistics & infrastructure industries, including rail (both passenger and freight), ports, and aviation.

Christina’s recent railway-oriented client work includes:

  • developing an end-to-end mobility strategy for a European passenger railway, leading to the launch of a new business model
  • designing a group-wide transformation program for a leading European railway, focused on improving quality and economics, resulting in €0.5 billion annual EBIT improvement in steady state
  • supporting a leading European cargo railway during the turnaround of its business model, including developing a new production philosophy and a new sales organization, and streamlining overall organization

Christina is a co-leader of Chefsache, a multi-organizational alliance under the sponsorship of Chancellor Angela Merkel with the goal of fostering gender equality in the German workplace.
