Bruce serves government clients in transformation and capability building to enhance outcomes and improve citizens’ experience. He is passionate about solving the most challenging issues facing societies and making a positive contribution to lives and livelihoods.
Some examples of his recent work include the following:
- supporting clients, including federal and state government agencies and departments in transforming and building business capability to enhance outcomes
- applying major government reviews and complex transformations across federal, state, and territory governments in central agencies, social services, health, environment, agriculture, defence, veterans’ affairs, and more
- guiding efficiency, operating model, and governance reviews across a breadth of government portfolios, departments, and agencies
- developing government leadership capability, providing sound and trusted advice as a mentor
Prior to joining McKinsey, Bruce was a partner in a global management consulting role with a focus on public-sector work and also held several senior executive positions across government sectors.
Outside of work, Bruce sits on the board of the National Youth Science Forum, a not-for-profit organization that encourages young people to embrace their passion for science. He also enjoys spending time with his family and friends, all types of fishing, playing golf, and working on his farm.
