About Avetik

Avetik has led client work for leading domestic and foreign companies in the basic-materials and petroleum sectors, with a particular focus on strategy, manufacturing operations, procurement, supply-chain management, marketing, organizational development, and management systems.

Avetik also advises on economic policy and economic reform. He has been active in structuring public–private partnerships, applying innovative methods to improve interactions between governments and a wide range of stakeholders.

Avetik has led our metals work globally since 2015 and is an active contributor to our Operations Practice.

Before joining McKinsey, Avetik worked at an investment bank in New York and at a European ministry of economic development.
